Anticancer efficacy of biosynthesized silver nanoparticles loaded with recombinant truncated parasporin-2 protein

Antiplasmodial, Antipyretic, Haematological and Histological Effects of the Leaf Extracts of Moringa oleifera in Plasmodium berghei berghei Infected Mice

The study evaluated the antimalarial and antipyretic activities of aqueous and ethanolic extracts of Moringa oleifera leaves in Plasmodium berghei berghei infected mice. Both extracts showed chemosuppressive antiplasmodial activities, with the highest doses surpassing the standard drug. The ethanolic extract exhibited significant antipyretic activity at 800mg/kg. Haematological effects included higher PCV values with the ethanolic extract and lower WBC with the aqueous extract. Histological examination indicated potential toxic effects on the kidney and liver at higher doses.
