Comparative Evaluation of 0.25% Lemongrass Oil Mouthwash and 0.2% Chlorhexidine Mouthwash in Fixed Orthodontic Patients Suffering from Gingivitis.

Comparative Evaluation of Locally Administered 2% Gel Fabricated from Lemongrass Polymer and 10% Doxycycline Hyclate Gel as an Adjunct to Scaling and Root Planing in the Treatment of Chronic Periodontitis—A Randomized Controlled Trial

This double-blind parallel arm randomized controlled trial compared the antimicrobial effectiveness of 2% lemongrass gel and 10% doxycycline hyclate gel as adjuncts to scaling and root planing in treating chronic periodontitis. Both treatments significantly reduced clinical indices and microbial colony counts from baseline to 1st and 3rd month follow-ups.

Effect of lemongrass tea consumption on estimated glomerular filtration rate and creatinine clearance rate.

Treatment of oral thrush in HIV/AIDS patients with lemon juice and lemon grass (Cymbopogon citratus) and gentian violet.

Anti-dandruff Hair Tonic Containing Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) Oil.

Antibacterial Efficacies of Extracts of Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon citratus) on Some Clinical Microbial Isolates

In vitro study investigating the antimicrobial activity of aqueous and ethanolic extracts of lemon grass (Cymbopogon citratus) against clinical isolates. The aqueous extract showed higher antimicrobial activity against all test isolates compared to the ethanolic extract, which was effective only against P. aeruginosa and S. aureus. Both extracts exerted a bacteriostatic effect.
