The study developed antibacterial wound dressing mats using polyvinyl pyrrolidone containing isatis root, applied via handheld electrospinning. In a Kunming mouse skin injury model, these mats showed antibacterial activity and promoted near complete wound closure and epidermal repair after 11 days.
