Moderate consumption of a soluble green/roasted coffee rich in caffeoylquinic acids reduces cardiovascular risk markers: results from a randomized, cross-over, controlled trial in healthy and hypercholesterolemic subjects.
A randomized, cross-over, controlled trial with 52 subjects evaluated the effects of consuming a green/roasted coffee blend on cardiovascular health markers. The study found significant reductions in serum lipids, blood pressure, and body weight, as well as improved plasma antioxidant capacity, suggesting potential cardiovascular benefits.
Consumption of green coffee reduces blood pressure and body composition by influencing 11β-HSD1 enzyme activity in healthy individuals: a pilot crossover study using green and black coffee.
A randomised pilot crossover study investigated the effects of green coffee and black coffee on cardiovascular markers in healthy subjects. Green coffee significantly reduced systolic blood pressure, arterial elasticity, BMI, and abdominal fat, and decreased urinary free cortisol levels, suggesting a potential role in reducing cardiovascular risk factors.
