Overview of therapeutic potentiality of Angelica sinensis for ischemic stroke.
Systematic review of Angelica sinensis and its active compounds for ischemic stroke treatment. A. sinensis extracts show significant effects on anti-inflammation, anti-oxidative stress, angiogenesis, neurogenesis, and protection of vessels, contributing to improved neurological function.
Radix Astragali and Radix Angelicae Sinensis in the Treatment of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.
Systematic review and meta-analysis of 17 RCTs evaluating Radix Astragali and Radix Angelicae Sinensis in the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). The review found that these herbs improved pulmonary function, exercise tolerance, and had a lower incidence of adverse reactions compared to control.
Clinical effect of cervical paravertebral nerve block combined with Mailuoning and Angelica sinensis in treatment of nerve-root type cervical spondylosis.
RCT comparing cervical paravertebral nerve block combined with Mailuoning and Angelica sinensis injection to glucocorticoid nerve block therapy in 120 patients with nerve-root type cervical spondylosis. The research group showed higher therapeutic response rates and treatment satisfaction compared to the control group.
Abnormal function of platelets and role of angelica sinensis in patients with ulcerative colitis.
RCT exploring the role of angelica sinensis injection (ASI) in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC). ASI significantly inhibited platelet activation, relieved vascular endothelial cell injury, and improved microcirculation in UC patients compared to routine therapy.
The immediate effect of natural plant extract, Angelica sinensis and Matricaria chamomilla (Climex) for the treatment of hot flushes during menopause. A preliminary report.
RCT of 55 postmenopausal women comparing Climex (Angelica sinensis and Matricaria chamomilla) to placebo for 12 weeks. The Climex group showed significant reduction in hot flushes and improvements in sleep disturbances and fatigue.
Mechanism prediction of Astragalus mongholicus Bunge and Angelica sinensis Diels in treating interstitial lung disease based on network pharmacology and molecular docking
The study investigates the mechanism by which Astragalus mongholicus and Angelica sinensis act in interstitial lung disease using network pharmacology and molecular docking. It identifies active ingredients and potential target genes, suggesting that these herbs may ameliorate ILD through the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway mediated by GSK3B.
Network pharmacology-based investigation of potential targets of astragalus membranaceous-angelica sinensis compound acting on diabetic nephropathy
The study investigates the mechanism of the Astragalus membranaceous-Angelica sinensis compound in treating diabetic nephropathy using network pharmacology and molecular docking. It identifies 142 main targets related to apoptosis, oxidative stress, inflammation, and insulin resistance. In vivo results show the compound reduces FBG levels, improves renal functions, and inhibits glycogen deposition in diabetic rats.
[Treatment of Chronic Endometritis by Penning Granule: a Clinical Randomized Controlled Trial].
RCT comparing Penning Granule (PG) to antibiotics in 38 patients with chronic endometritis. PG showed a higher markedly effective rate of clinical symptoms (91.3%) compared to the control group (60.0%). PG also resulted in decreased plasma cell CD38 infiltration and improved expression of MUC-1 and HIF-1α, indicating superior effects over antibiotics.
Dynamic analysis of the endogenous metabolites in depressed patients treated with TCM formula Xiaoyaosan using urinary (1)H NMR-based metabolomics.
The study analyzed urinary metabolites in 21 depressed patients treated with Xiaoyaosan (XYS) using (1)H NMR-based metabolomics. After six weeks of XYS treatment, significant changes in metabolites related to energy metabolism, gut microbes, tryptophan metabolism, and taurine metabolism were observed, along with improved Hamilton Depression Scale scores.
Randomized, controlled trial of phytoestrogen in the prophylactic treatment of menstrual migraine.
RCT assessing the efficacy of a phytoestrogen combination (soy isoflavones, dong quai, black cohosh) in the prophylactic treatment of menstrual migraine. The treatment reduced the average frequency of migraine attacks from 10.3 to 4.7 in the treatment group compared to placebo over 24 weeks.
Does dong quai have estrogenic effects in postmenopausal women? A double-blind, placebo-controlled trial.
Double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial evaluating the estrogenic effects of dong quai on vaginal cells and endometrial thickness in 71 postmenopausal women. No statistically significant differences were observed between the dong quai and placebo groups in endometrial thickness, vaginal maturation index, vasomotor flushes, or Kupperman index.
