Chamomile: A systematic review of adverse events.

Out of 72 trials and 11 case reports, 65 adverse events were reported, primarily gastrointestinal complications and drowsiness, which were self-limiting and non-serious. Preliminary examination of the efficacy and safety of a standardized chamomile extract for chronic primary insomnia: a randomized placebo-controlled pilot study.
