Systematic review of 14 RCTs with 2050 participants examining herbal medicines for nonspecific low back pain. Capsicum frutescens (cayenne) reduces pain more than placebo. Other herbs like devil's claw, white willow bark, comfrey, Brazilian arnica, and lavender essential oil also show pain reduction, but evidence quality is moderate.
